The Carmelite Sisters of the Sacred Heart Retreat House
Sacred Heart Retreat House located in Southern California near Los Angeles, provides a spiritual oasis, a place to have this personal encounter with Him. Through our various retreats, spiritual classes, and conferences, we strive to provide an opportunity for people to experience quiet and solitude and to deepen their union with God through prayer.
St. Francis High School
Founded in 1946 by the Capuchin Franciscan Friars, St. Francis High School is a Catholic, college preparatory school for young men in grades 9-12. St. Francis High School of La Canada-Flintridge, a non-profit religious corporation, is operated by the Board of Directors under the sponsorship of the Capuchin Franciscan Order of the Western America Province. St. Francis High School is committed to enriching the mind and the heart through a challenging academic curriculum, dedicated Franciscan Spirit and Life program, and wide variety of opportunities through arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities.
The University of Portland
Allen and Kathie Lund have contributed over $10 million dollars to the University, their generosity supporting the construction of the University’s Bell Tower, the establishment of an endowed scholarship for students, the building of Lund Family Residence Hall and Beauchamp Recreation and Wellness Center, and the purchase and provision of a Heritage Edition of the Saint John’s Bible that is on permanent display in the Clark Library.
St. Edward Retreat Center & Camp Lolek
St. Edward Retreat Center and Camp Lolek are a Catholic non-profit organization established in January 2020. The non-profit was spearheaded by the vision and generous donations from Kathie Lund. She has been a supporter of Catholic retreats and summer camps for over 50 years, and believes that the youth need and deserve outdoor experiences to ground their faith in order to share in the beauty of God in a natural setting.
